Community Guidelines

1. Our Principles

Latrixel is a social platform that values:

• Free Expression: You can share your thoughts, opinions, and creativity openly. We do not censor political opinions, religious views, or controversial ideas.
• Privacy: Anonymous and confession features exist to enable honest expression without fear. We protect your identity.
• Healthy Debate: War Rooms are designed for passionate but respectful debate. Disagree with ideas, not people.
• Safety: Every user deserves to feel safe. Threats, harassment, and exploitation have no place here.
• Accountability: Freedom comes with responsibility. Anonymity is not a license to harm others.

2. Zero-Tolerance Violations

The following result in immediate permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement:

2.1 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) Instant Ban + Law Enforcement

Any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors. This includes images, videos, text, voice notes, or any other media. We report all CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant local authorities.

2.2 Terrorism & Violent Extremism Instant Ban + Law Enforcement

Content that promotes, glorifies, or recruits for terrorist organizations or violent extremist groups. This includes propaganda, recruitment material, and celebration of terrorist attacks.

2.3 Credible Threats of Violence Instant Ban + Law Enforcement

Specific, credible threats to harm individuals or groups. This includes threats of murder, assault, bombing, shooting, or other acts of violence. Vague expressions of anger are not threats — but specific plans or targets are.

2.4 Non-Consensual Intimate Images Instant Ban

Sharing intimate or sexual images of another person without their consent ("revenge porn"). This includes real images, deepfakes, and AI-generated content depicting real individuals.

2.5 Human Trafficking & Exploitation Instant Ban + Law Enforcement

Any content that facilitates human trafficking, forced labor, sexual exploitation, or organ trafficking.

3. Serious Violations

The following may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity and history:

3.1 Harassment & Bullying Suspension / Ban

Targeted harassment of individuals, including:

• Repeated unwanted contact after being blocked or asked to stop
• Coordinated campaigns to harass a specific person
• Doxxing — sharing someone's private information (address, phone number, workplace) without consent
• Using anonymous or confession features to repeatedly target a specific individual
• Encouraging others to harass someone ("brigading")

Note: Criticism of public figures, disagreement with opinions, and heated debate are NOT harassment. We distinguish between attacking ideas and attacking people.

3.2 Hate Speech Suspension / Ban

Content that promotes violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on:

• Race, ethnicity, or national origin
• Religion
• Gender or gender identity
• Sexual orientation
• Disability
• Immigration status

What is NOT hate speech: Discussing controversial topics, criticizing ideologies or beliefs, satire, academic discussion, or sharing personal experiences — even if others find them offensive.

3.3 Graphic Violence Content Removal

Excessively graphic or gratuitous depictions of violence, gore, or bodily harm. Exceptions may apply for newsworthy events, educational content, or documentary purposes when clearly labeled.

3.4 Self-Harm & Suicide Content Removal + Support Resources

Content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instructions for self-harm or suicide. We will remove such content and, where possible, provide mental health resources to the poster. Sharing personal experiences with mental health struggles in a supportive context is allowed.

3.5 Impersonation Suspension / Ban

Creating accounts that impersonate real people, organizations, or other Latrixel users with the intent to deceive. Parody and fan accounts are allowed if clearly labeled as such.

3.6 Fraud & Scams Ban

Using the Service to conduct fraud, scams, phishing, or deceptive schemes. This includes fraudulent marketplace listings, fake giveaways, and social engineering attacks.

4. Content Standards

4.1 Adult Content Warning / Removal

Sexually explicit content is not permitted on Latrixel. This includes pornographic images, videos, and explicit sexual descriptions. Artistic nudity, educational content about sexual health, and breastfeeding content may be permitted at our discretion.

4.2 Spam Warning / Suspension

Automated or bulk posting, repetitive content, misleading links, and engagement manipulation (fake likes, fake followers, fake views) are prohibited.

4.3 Misinformation Label / Removal

We do not position ourselves as arbiters of truth. However, we may label or remove content that:

• Contains demonstrably false health information that could cause physical harm
• Manipulates media (deepfakes) to deceive viewers about real events
• Spreads false information about elections or voting processes

Opinions, speculation, satire, and debate about controversial topics are NOT misinformation.

4.4 Intellectual Property Content Removal

Do not post content that infringes on others' copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. If you receive a copyright complaint, you may file a counter-notice if you believe the takedown was in error.

4.5 Illegal Activities Ban + Law Enforcement

Content that promotes, facilitates, or provides instructions for illegal activities, including drug trafficking, weapons sales, hacking, and financial crimes.

5. Feature-Specific Guidelines

5.1 Anonymous Posts & Confessions

• Anonymous features are for honest expression — not for targeting individuals
• Do not use anonymity to make threats, harass, defame, or bully specific people
• Do not use confessions to share others' private information
• All other Community Guidelines apply equally to anonymous content
• Repeated abuse of anonymous features will result in loss of anonymous posting privileges or account ban

5.2 War Rooms

• War Rooms are for debate and discussion — keep it about ideas, not personal attacks
• Do not use War Rooms to coordinate harassment or brigading
• Respect the time-limited nature of War Rooms — the debate ends when the timer runs out
• Anonymous mode in War Rooms follows the same rules as anonymous posts
• The "winning" group is determined by engagement metrics — do not manipulate these with fake accounts

5.3 Voice Notes

• Voice notes are subject to the same content policies as text
• Do not record or share audio of others without their consent
• Do not use voice notes to harass, threaten, or intimidate
• Voice notes containing hate speech, threats, or CSAM will be treated with the same severity as text or visual content

5.4 Channels & Groups

• Channel and group administrators are responsible for moderating their communities
• Channels and groups that consistently violate Community Guidelines may be deleted
• Do not create channels or groups for the purpose of harassment, hate, or illegal activity

5.5 Marketplace

• List only products you have the right to sell
• Provide accurate descriptions and images
• Do not list prohibited items (weapons, drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit products)
• Do not engage in price gouging, bait-and-switch, or other deceptive practices

5.6 Direct Messages

• Do not send unsolicited explicit content
• Respect when someone blocks you — do not create new accounts to circumvent blocks
• Do not use DMs for spam, scams, or harassment

5.7 Statuses (Stories)

• All content guidelines apply to status updates
• Do not use statuses to share others' private information
• Statuses expire after 24 hours but violations may still result in enforcement action

6. Enforcement Actions

When we determine a violation has occurred, we may take one or more of the following actions:

6.1 Content Removal

The violating content is removed from the platform. The user is notified of the removal and the reason.

6.2 Warning

The user receives a formal warning. Warnings are recorded and factor into future enforcement decisions.

6.3 Temporary Suspension

The user's account is temporarily suspended for a period ranging from 24 hours to 30 days, depending on the severity of the violation and prior history.

6.4 Permanent Ban

The user's account is permanently terminated. This is reserved for severe violations, repeated offenses, or zero-tolerance violations.

6.5 Law Enforcement Referral

For violations involving illegal activity, we may report the matter to relevant law enforcement authorities and provide information as required by law or valid legal process.

6.6 Feature Restrictions

In some cases, we may restrict specific features (e.g., anonymous posting, voice notes, marketplace access) rather than suspending the entire account.

7. Appeals

If you believe enforcement action was taken in error:

1. Contact us at appeals@latrixel.com within 30 days of the action
2. Include your username, the content or action in question, and why you believe the decision was incorrect
3. We will review your appeal and respond within 14 business days
4. Our decision on appeals is final

8. Reporting Violations

If you see content that violates these guidelines:

• In-App: Use the report button available on all posts, comments, profiles, and messages
• Email: Send detailed reports to reports@latrixel.com
• Emergency: If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first, then notify us

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We take every report seriously and investigate thoroughly.
